Mariah’s Pregnant Butterfly Belly

You know, I never had the nerve, or desire, to get a belly cast or belly art when I was pregnant with Daniel or Annabel.

Here’s a photo of Mariah Carey’s REALLY pregnant belly.  She shared it via Twitter.

She painted it to celebrate her 42nd birthday and to celebrate her return from the hospital after experiencing some early contractions.  She had a little scare over the weekend, but she’s back relaxing (we hope!) at home.

I love that the butterfly is half pink (for her baby girl) and half blue (for her baby boy.)  Mariah and her hubbie Nick Cannon have been referring to their twins as “dem babies” on Twitter lately, so naturally that was written above the elaborate belly art.

All I keep thinking is MAN, she is HUGE!  Mariah and Nick have never confirmed the actual due date except to say “spring,” but I’m betting it could be any day now.

Oh, Yay!  My NKOTB crush, Jordan Knight, has a brand new song on the radio called “Let’s Go Higher.”  It’s so good.  It will make you want to get up and dance.  Annabel and I are dancing around the kitchen to it now.  Jordan said he is going to perform the song during the NKOTBSB concert this summer too.  I’ll be there!

Justin Bieber: Breaking News!

PLEASE tell me it’s just a super slow news day when every entertainment website had THIS as the lead story when I woke up this morning:

“JUSTIN BIEBER GETS A HAIRCUT.”

Wow.  This kid has some serious impact.  (Taylor Swift better hurry up and straighten her hair again.)

Here’s a first look at Taylor Swift’s “Back to December” video.  It’s the song she wrote about Taylor Lautner.  (Allegedly.)

I love the song and the video is beautiful.  Check it out.

Happy New Year!

Happy 2011! I still can not believe 2010 is gone.  It went SO FAST.  We are finally back in our new home after road tripping up north to visit family. I have lots of recaps to come.  But I need to unpack and do tons of laundry first.  So in the meantime, enjoy this performance from Dick Clark’s New Year’s Eve.  Did you buy your concert tickets yet?  I’ll be heading to Washington, DC in June to see NKOTBSB with my little sis and a good friend.  Yippee!

It was announced earlier this year that Taylor Swift would be the next face of CoverGirl   And now the first photos are FINALLY revealed!  She will be promoting their new NatureLuxe line which will debut in January.   Below is Taylor’s very first ad for CoverGirl.  She looks very angelic and pretty.  And I love that she left her hair curly.

Taylor Swift & Jake Gyllenhaal

Don’t you just love (or hate) our world of camera phones?  You can’t hide from anyone these days.

This photo of Taylor and Jake was snapped by a customer at a hip coffeehouse in Taylor’s hometown of Nashville.   It looks like they are definitely “dating” or “hanging out.”  This weekend I’ve also learned that they really love coffee because they were also spotted in Brooklyn, NY on Thanksgiving Day sharing maple lattes.  (Yum or yuck?  I can’t decide.)

I think they’re a cute couple.  I can’t wait to hear the song she writes about THIS relationship.

Ricky Martin

Ricky Martin has been super busy lately.  He’s making the publicity rounds to promote his new book, Me. He visited Oprah last week.  It was his first television interview since publicly admitting he was a gay earlier this year.  It was a great interview.  He was very open. He seems truly happy and he’s now a father to two adorable twin boys (via surrogate.)

I’ve always been a huge Ricky Martin fan.  I remember watching his American debut at the 1999 Grammy awards.  I was with a bunch of friends and we could not stop talking about this charismatic guy.  And he was so GORGEOUS.

Then he came out with his huge hit song, Livin’ La Vida Loca.  I’m going to go ahead and give it one of my Best Pop Songs EVER stamps.

My favorite Ricky Martin moment, however, was actually getting to MEET Ricky Martin.  It was a brief encounter at my husband’s radio station about 4 years ago.  He was unbelievably humble and sweet.  And, yes, he is even more gorgeous in person.  I’m a lucky gal.

NKOTBSB

It’s cutie boy band overload!  The New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys have just announced that they plan to tour together in Summer 2011!  ( I am really excited.  I’ve been an NKOTB fan since high school and the Backstreet Boys have one of the Best Pop Songs EVER.)

Here’s the very first official photo of the guys: Joey McIntyre, AJ McLean, Jordan Knight, Howie Dorough, Jonathan Knight, Donnie Wahlberg, Brian Littrell, Danny Wood, and Nick Carter.  Unfortunately no Kevin Richardson.  He is no longer a member of BSB.

Their very first performance together will be at this year’s American Music Awards on November 21st.  (Although they did give us a tease at a New Kids concert back in June.)  And here’s the brand new NKOTBSB website and twitter account so I, er you, can follow their every move.

Madonna and Lourdes: Material Girl Clothing Line

Madonna and her teenage daughter Lourdes have officially launched their new “Material Girl” collection for Macy’s.

I love this photo of Mom and Daughter.  Madonna always looks amazing and Lourdes is rocking her own cool style.

There are some super cute items in the Material Girl clothing line for teens.  Everything has some ’80s influence, which I love.

You can buy something fun from the Macy’s website.

I know I’m not a teen, but I really want the Boyfriend Blazer.
